Dr. Steven J. Napier

As the founding dentist of Grand Dental Group, Dr. Napier’s vision of providing extraordinary care remains at the forefront among our countless dentists near Northlake and our qualified staff.

Dr. Napier earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Eventually, when he decided to build a dental office, he wanted it to be led with integrity and a commitment to the community. For 32 years, he has provided the highest level of quality service and care to generations of families.

His integral role in the community makes him a well-respected professional whom patients know and love. Although he spends much of his time in the office, you’ll also find him with his wife and three daughters. As an accomplished guitar player, he’s played with well-named musicians and popular bands at various music venues throughout Chicago and West Hollywood.

Dr. Joseph Nierzwicki

Dr. Nierzwicki, or “Dr. Joe” as his patients refer to him, has spent the last 10 years at Grand Dental Group. Growing up in a family full of healthcare providers, he witnessed the joy and importance of helping others throughout the community.

After attending Creighton University School of Dentistry, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2010, but returned to the Chicago area to practice. Since then, he has completed multiple hours of continuing education courses focusing on composite restorations, crown and bridgework, endodontics, dental implant restorations, and sleep apnea therapy.

Outside the office, you’ll often find him with his fiancé, running, participating in marathons, and cheering on his favorite Chicago sports team, including the Bears, Bulls, and White Sox.

Dr. Ine Suh

As a dentist near Northlake, Dr. Suh witnessed the damage that can occur when dental care is not readily accessible. As a child, she saw the harmful effects in her grandparents’ rural village, yet received life-changing dental and orthodontic treatment. This led her to discover the meaningful work of dentistry and how she could make a positive impact on others in need of oral healthcare.

After earning her DDS degree at Marquette University School of Dentistry, she continued her training and coursework to hone her skills. As an active member of various professional organizations, she stays up to date on the latest advancements to ensure she provides the most effective solutions to her patients.

When she’s not busy in the office, you’ll often find her staying active by running along Lake Michigan, doing Pilates and yoga, going on hikes, playing the violin, going to concerts, and visiting farmers markets with family and friends.

Dr. Bruce Abdullah

Dr. Abdullah is a skilled and highly respected periodontist near Northlake who is also an implantologist. Finding ways to improve and transform patients’ smiles, he loves solving problems and working with his hands.

After earning his dental doctorate at Loyola University School of Dentistry, he completed a master's and a specialty certificate in periodontology at Tufts University. With years of experience and professional education, he earned board certification and the designation of Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology.

For more than 25 years, he has taught postgraduate periodontology at the University of Illinois School of Dentistry and is a member of multiple professional organizations.

Happily married with two daughters, Dr. Abdullah enjoys coaching his daughters in golf, both of whom are dedicated to the sport.

Dr. Sam Allen

Dr. Allen cares about building long-term, strong relationships with his patients. As an orthodontist near Northlake, he offers physical transformations that also positively impact people’s mental and emotional well-being.

Deciding to become an orthodontist in 7th grade, he wore braces and discovered how life-changing the process was for him. Enjoying life with a straighter smile, he wanted to provide the same to others.

This led him to earn his dental degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. After graduating first in his class, he earned his orthodontic certificate and a Master of Science in Dentistry from VCU.

After practicing for several years in Colorado, he moved back to the Chicago area and continues to remain actively engaged in the Illinois Society of Orthodontists and the American Academy of Orthodontists.

When he’s not straightening teeth, you’ll find Dr. Allen with his rescue dog, Nugget, and taking walks with his family. He enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle, traveling, playing tennis, relaxing on the lake, and spending time with friends.
