Delta Dental Premier Coverage Availability & Fees
If you are contracted with Delta Dental Premier, you may choose to see any PPO or Premier dentist in the network. There are two tiers you can choose from when enrolling in a Delta Dental Premier plan: High or Low.
Delta Dental Premier High
- 100% preventive services are covered (i.e., dental checkups, dental cleanings, X-rays, etc.)
- 60% minor restorative services are covered (i.e., dental fillings)
- 50% major restorative services are covered (i.e., dental crowns, dentures, etc.)
Delta Dental Premier Low
- 80% preventive services are covered (i.e., dental checkups, dental cleanings, X-rays, etc.)
- 50% minor and major restorative services are covered (i.e., dental fillings, dental crowns, root canals, tooth extractions, dentures, etc.)
Orthodontic coverage may be available; however, you will need to review the details of your plan. The amount your insurer will agree to pay may be different depending on which tier you choose – High or Low.
You will be responsible for your co-payment or deductible when enrolled with Delta Dental Premier, which is a standard fee-for-service plan.
By having a set co-payment, you can determine your budget for oral health costs much easier.
